WHAT'S YOUR DAY LIKE AS OUR MECHANICAL ENGINEER?
As our Mechanical Engineer, you will lead the mechanical engineering functions required for the design, manufacture, and delivery of Buhler dryers. Your day will start with reviewing the project specifications and performing sizing calculations to select the appropriate dryer components. You'll meticulously document your calculations and ensure all drawings sent to manufacturing are accurate and complete. Your tasks will include creating detailed 3D models and technical drawings, collaborating with cross-functional teams to align activities with project schedules, and resolving any design or manufacturing issues that arise. Regular inspections of components, work-in-process, and finished machinery will be part of your routine to ensure quality and compliance. You'll actively participate in project meetings, contribute to equipment manuals, and address design and engineering issues post-delivery. Every day will be a mix of technical challenges and collaborative problem-solving, making a significant impact on the quality and success of our products.
