Job Description:
As a Senior Performance Test Lead, you will be responsible for planning, designing, executing, and reporting on performance testing projects for various software applications.
You will work closely with the development team, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure that the performance requirements and objectives are met.
You will also mentor and guide junior performance testers and ensure compliance with the quality standards and best practices.
Proficiency in performance testing of Windows-based desktop applications using Win socket and other windows related protocols of LoadRunner.
Responsibilities:
Experience in performance testing of enterprise solutions in On-premises and Cloud environment .
performance testing of Windows-based applications using Win socket protocol and LoadRunner.
Expertise in network traffic analysis tools like Wireshark and Fiddler
Build Performance Test scripts & Performance Test Scenarios using one of the tools: ( Load Runner, Apache JMeter )
Knowledge of stubbing techniques for simulating components or services in performance testing
Ensure Performance Test readiness including Test Environment, Test Data, Performance Test & Monitoring tools.
Run Performance Testing, collect Test results and data ( Monitoring data, Application & Server logs etc.)
Assist in analysis and detection of performance bottlenecks.
Hands-on experience on database.
Experience with the different types of samplers like TCP and Web sockets (apart from
Have knowledge on Microsoft Perf Mon system health report tool, Report/log analysis, PerfMon counters, Memory leakage tracking.
Must have exposure to Web Services API testing.
Experience in monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Azure App insights.
Hands on experience in analyzing logs on Unix/Linux..
Years of experience needed –
Overall, 8- 10 years in performance testing with window/web-based applications.
Technical Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
