Production / Event Coordinator
Work Locations - New York, NY 10022
Positions Requested - 1
Hours per Week - 40
Total Hours - 9-month contract initially
US Citizen or Permanent Resident

Project - Advertising Event Operations
  • Candidate must have media/advertising experience.
  • New York candidates required as this position may require on-site coverage at industry events in the Tri-State area.
  • Candidate will work approximately 40 hours per week.

Job Summary : The Production / Event Coordinator will be at the forefront of orchestrating both in-person and virtual events for Advertising. This role demands a highly organized individual with meticulous planning and flawless executional skills of events of all scales. In this role, will work closely with various cross-functional colleagues to help bring our unique Advertising experience to clients, partners, and the broader industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute all aspects of events, from start to finish, including post-event analysis and KPI evaluation.
  • Ensure seamless operation of events, including venue selection, vendor management, technology setup for virtual components, and on-site logistics.
  • Develop and execute detailed project plans and timelines, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver events that meet strategic objectives.
  • Manage event budgets to ensure cost-effective planning and execution.
  • Evaluate event success using key metrics and produce reports to inform future event strategies.
  • Stay current of event industry trends and incorporate innovative ideas to enhance attendee experience.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in event planning or operations, with a focus on corporate and B2B events.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
  • Experience with virtual event platforms and a keen understanding of the technical requirements for virtual and hybrid events.

  • Production / Event Coordinator
    • Driven Project Manager/ Coordinator - work with manager on activating sponsorship in various industry events - work with third party organizers (logistics driven)
    • 85% remote, sometimes need onsite coverage in NYC area for events or in the office
    • Handling venue selection and events
    • Television / broadcast industry background
    • Ideally looking to extend or convert FT
Pay Range: $30 - $32/HR W2
The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
