As a reflection of our current needs and planned growth we are very pleased to offer a new opportunity to join our dedicated Strategy and Business Development team as a Sr. Real Estate Analyst.
The Sr. Real Estate Analyst will provide research and quantitative analysis to guide the market planning and the decision-making processes for the growth of TAG's company-wide development. Prepare site research and real estate committee submittals for use by the real estate committee to inform their decisions. Analyze the influences that affect the performance of each brand's locations. Gain deep understanding of the spatial, demographic, competitor, and other factors in a location's success. Define and understand individual offices (or groups of offices) that do not perform to expectations. To be concise, this position puts the science behind the successful growth of the company through new locations and new markets.
Essential Responsibilities: - Collaborate with the Real Estate Development team and the Operations team to develop and execute strategic, data driven real estate expansion, by evaluating markets, trade areas, and sites using GIS spatial tools, predictive models and analysis.
- Provide strategic analysis concerning trade area creation, market share, overlaps, voids, and cannibalization.
- Translate analytical results and studies into clear, concise, and actionable insights to be understood by all levels within the organization.
- Support real estate analytics and market insight activities for all TAG brands, and any future endeavors the company may pursue.
- Complete relevant ad hoc analyses to answer both strategic and tactical questions critical to upstream real estate strategy development and downstream site identification and approval.
- Develop and maintain relevant information in the company's Real Estate databases to be shared across the company.
- Create presentations, summaries, and recommendations to aid the real estate committee in their decision-making process.
Qualifications and Special Skills Required - Bachelor's Degree in business, geography, economics, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in location strategy, spatial analytics, GIS, retail strategy, or related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with knowledge of retail store site selection location strategies, sales forecasting and cannibalization.
- Experience with and understanding of GIS technology.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Experience with large sets of data within databases preferred.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at one time, balancing priorities and deadlines.
Salary: $95-110k
