•Willingly perform other duties as needed

Title Processing Proficiency:

•Demonstrate expertise in examining and clearing requirements on Title Commitments
•Perform data entry for title orders and initiate requests for title from the underwriter on new orders
•Proactively identify and communicate potential roadblocks or issues to customers
•Perform data entry tasks, assist with post-closing duties, and support closers in fulfilling the closing process
•Produce closing protection letters, Prelim-ALTA/CDs, and title requirements for lenders
•Order surveys, payoffs, lien searches, and other required services to ensure clear title
•Coordinate and schedule real estate closings with all involved parties
•Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of title insurance, real estate processing, and closings, including proficiency in professional phone etiquette and the ability to handle tasks such as ordering mortgage payoffs, estoppel letters, surveys, and more

Software Experience:

•Utilize strong computer skills, including proficiency in Adobe Acrobat Standard/Pro, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), and a 10-key calculator
•Experience with QUALIA software is highly desired but not required

•Analyze and verify the accuracy of documentation such as leases, surveys, contracts, property title records, property ownership, public records, deeds, and agreements needed to produce a clear title
•Work with title examiner and underwriter to prepare title insurance policy and binders and title commitments, and with loan closer to prepare HUD-1 real estate settlement statements
•Support title officers with administrative assistant essential duties, including clerical and data entry assistanc
•Communicate with pre-processor to be sure all items are complete, paralegal or settlement processor to ensure all settlement figures are correct, and with post-closing agent to ensure the transaction is recorded and any outstanding issues are resolved
•Coordinate with loan officer, mortgage loan processor, and underwriter to ensure all closing instructions are followed as per the closing package, and all underwriting commitments have been satisfied

Qualifications

•Outstanding communications, customer service, research, and analysis skills are preferred
•Proficient computer skills with numerous programs including MS Office is vital
•Some college is helpful; high school diploma or equivalent is required
•Years of experience (1-3) with real estate transactions or title processing, or as a title company pre-processor or mortgage loan processor is essential
•Certification as a notary public is not required but is appreciated
